With the series of typhoons and the cases of strong earthquakes that hit the Philippines within the past five years, the question still rise, have the people learned the ways to survive these deadly disasters? Do they know how to survive after the disaster subsides?
After the disasters, people are waiting for relief goods to come. It seems that their natural tendencies to look for food and create natural products after the disaster tends to slowly disappear. Is it because people are forgetting how to hunt and gather, is it because they lack initiative or are they too much dependent with the government’s aid?
